five nights at freddy's is a series of Survival Horror indie games developed by Scott Cawthon. The first game, launched on August 8, 2014, focuses on Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria and its animatronic characters, Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken, and Foxy the Pirate Fox. During the day, the eatery is kid-friendly, but at night, the animatronics roam free. You're the night guard who must keep the animatronics out of the security office or they'll murder you.
